Silver Shiny New Baroque is a new tea service by the ever-original Paola Navone for German ceramics company Reichenbach and the winner of the Design Plus 2005 Award. The fine porcelain is decorated with high-grade platinum applied by hand, a process requiring the highest level of precision and craftsmanship.

Paola Navone graduated in 1973 from the Polytechnics of Turin, and she is a designer and an architect. In 1979, she entered the famous Italian group Alchimia, with the well-known Ettore Sottsass and Andrea Branzi. Between 1985 and 1988, she was a consultant for the United Nations - UNIDO United Nations Industrial Development Organization-and has worked in the Phillipines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
Today, as the artistic director of the firms Abet Laminati and Gervasoni, she works for many designers such as Driade, Molteni, Armani Casa, Orizzonti, Arcade and Roche Bobois.
