Designed in 1940 for the New York Museum of Modern Art’s ‘Organic Design in Home Furnishings’ competition, this collaboration between Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen was so far ahead of its time that the technology to manufacture it commercially didn’t exist until after 1950. It has a fabric-covered laminated seat shell and black-stained ash legs. Click on Request Callback for further information on fabric options.
